Here you can find out about our range of funding programmes which are open to apply to all year round – each with its own criteria for funding and application deadlines.
The Open Fund – Funding for Organisations and Music Creators.
Suitable for: a wide range of new music projects across all genres.
The Composers’ Fund – grants of up to £10k for composers at pivotal stages in their careers
Suitable for: Composers with a strong track record in their field who are at a point in their career where access to funding could help move forward their career.
Resonate – grants of up to £10k available to full and associate of Association of British Orchestras (ABO) members.
Suitable for: Orchestras who can demonstrate a commitment to presenting high quality contemporary UK repertoire which they will promote with the Resonate brand as part of a season, tour and longer term audience development programme.
International Showcase Fund – our music export funding programme supporting artists for international showcasing.
Suitable for: artists who have been formally invited to perform at an international music showcase.
Momentum Music Fund – grants of between £5k and £15k to bands and solo artists to develop their careers
Suitable for: artists and bands writing, producing and performing contemporary popular music. Applicants should be at a tipping point in their career, with a team already in place (e.g. management, live agent, etc).
The Writer Producer Fund – grants of up to £10,000 for songwriters and writer-producers to further develop their careers and writing/production credits
Suitable for: songwriters and writer-producers working in popular music genres
Women Make Music – supporting women music creators, composers and performers to make their mark.
Suitable for: women music creators across all genres.
Steve Reid InNOVAtion Award – an innovative creative development project, supporting outstanding emerging artists through expert mentorship and vital bursaries of up to £1,500.
Suitable for: anyone that is writing and performing their own music and is currently unsigned and unmanaged. The programme is currently closed but we hope to re-open for applications in September 2015.
Flash Funding – addresses issues facing emerging music creators by responding to specific needs with an innovative approach to funding, involving video submissions, quick turnaround and high-profile industry experts and partners.
Lynsey de Paul Prize – an opportunity for emerging female solo music creators, offering a talent development bursary of £2000 plus mentoring to one winner, and £500 each for two runners up, to help them take the next step in their careers.
Suitable for: emerging female music creators, who show great musical ability and promise, that do not yet have management, label representation, publishing or other business relationships in place.
