Meet the Composers Panel
Join composers Howard Skempton and David Bruce on the last day of the Spitalfields Summer Music Festival for a special ‘Meet the Composers’ panel to celebrate their New Music 20×12 commissions ‘Five Rings Triples’ and ‘Fire’.

This event gives you the opportunity to hear from the composers themselves, in discussion with PRS for Music Foundation’s Vanessa Reed, exploring some of the themes of their work and the joys and challenges of composing new music for unusual settings with a range of new performers and partners.
Later that evening both their New Music 20×12 works will be performed:
7pm at Christ Church, Spitalfields – Five Rings Triple by Howard Skempton, performed by The Society of Royal Cumberland Youths
9pm in Bishops Square, Shoreditch – Fire by David Bruce, performed by the Gabrieli Consort, the Spitalfields Singers Community Chorus and The World Famous fire artists.
