Malik (MD7) Harrison started his musical journey as a member of the well established UK Hip-Hop group Moorish Delta 7 (M.D.7) from Birmingham UK , M.D.7. reached critical acclaim in 2002 with their first album The Power & The Glory, which was widely considered a landmark in UK Hip-Hop.

With the success of Malik‘s solo singles such as Silent Screams and Girl Child, this gave Maliknotoriety as a respected UK emcee making him the leading voice for UK hip hop. MD7 soon released a second album and by 2005 they toured the country. Malik‘s turning point came when he performed on Mark Ronson and Amy Winhouse‘s Valerie remix. Mark Ronson loved the remix so much that he put it on the official single which led to Malik touring with Mark Ronson‘s full band across the UK after that Malik released solo video singles Something Real and The Blues Ground which received heavy rotation on UK radio. Months later Malik then joined the Jay-Z, Mark Ronson ’08 tour with supporting artists Kanye West and Wiley.

Later that year releasing The Rappers Rapper mixtape and officially changing his stage name to Malik MD7 – returning to radio with hits such as 30 Rounds feat. Giggs and I’m Ready feat Margs & K-Koke. As a regular on radio shows such as the Charlie Sloth show (1Xtra), the Tim Westwood show. In 2011 he released Too Muckin Fuch Vol 1 along with collabs with Sway, Professor Green, Wretch 32, Wiley. Malik toured the UK and the Netherlands in 2013 ending in Rotterdam.
