Derby Jazz: Jazz Promoter

Find out more by visiting:

Derby Jazz is a not for profit arts organisation which has been active since 1982.

Working in partnership with a number of different venues in Derby city centre, we promote performances of live jazz by leading artists. The high quality of our programme has been recognised by three promoters awards: the Performing Rights Foundation; the Musicians Union and Jazz Services.

Derby Jazz organises education projects in schools, colleges and the University of Derby. We also work closely with Hothouse – previously the East Midlands Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Derby Jazz has always supported exceptionally talented local musicians as they develop their national and international careers. We are particularly proud of our association with Dave O’Higgins and Phil Robson.

If you’re looking to see if we’ve supported someone like you, working in your genre or region, or if you want to find out who we’ve supported through our different funding opportunities and partnership programmes, then please use the drop-down menu search tool.

If you have a specific artist, group, performer, promoter or organisation that you’re looking for, please use the ‘Search’ tool in the top right hand corner of this page. If we have supported them, this is the best way to find out about the support they’ve received from us.
