EXAUDI’s grant from PRS for Music Foundation contributes towards the core operating costs of this leading UK new music ensemble – the only one of its kind in the country, dedicated to the most adventurous and experimental repertoire for vocal ensemble.

The PRS for Music Foundation grant will help us to finance the day-to-day running of the ensemble by covering some staff costs and allowing us to deliver and develop our busy year-round programme of activity. Between October 2014 and September 2015 we will give concerts of EXAUDI-commissioned works by composers such as Laurence Crane, Michael Oesterle, Alex Hills, Stefano Gervasoni and Garrett Sholdice throughout the UK, work intensively with emerging composers in London and Aldeburgh, sing Terry Riley and La Monte Young at Cafe Oto, premiere a Mark Simpson work with the BBC Philharmonic in Manchester, bring experimental vocal theatre to Cardiff and the Song of Songs to the East End and much else besides.

The PRS for Music Foundation grant will allow us to deliver these exciting projects to the high standards we have established in the past 12 years.
