The Jellyman’s Daughter: International Showcase Fund (Folk Alliance International)

The Jellyman’s Daughter is a Scottish acoustic duo featuring Emily Kelly (vocals, guitar, mandolin) and Graham Coe (vocals, cello) who land squarely in the middle of a strange crossroads between bluegrass, post-rock, folk and the good kind of pop. Emily and Graham strive for originality in their songwriting, incorporating cello, guitar and mandolin in their songs. The duo share a unique affinity in their vocal harmonies, while Graham’s cello is “percussive as a drum, grounded as a bass or sweet as a fiddle”

Thanks for the PRS for Music Foundation and the other supporting funding bodies, in February 2017 The Jellyman’s Daughter will attend Folk Alliance International – a music industry conference which which provides the opportunity to meet and perform for potentially thousands of music industry-related professionals and connect with a cornucopia of amazing musicians in an exciting folk-focused environment. For Emily and Graham, attending the conference could help them achieve great success with their music, and create meaningful connections that will be vital for their musical journey in the future.
