Jake has had a phenomenal 2015 so far. In March he released his latest EP ‘Where We Belong’ on Rocket Records and it debuted at Number 4 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter Chart and Top 40 in the iTunes album charts.
Touring wise, Jake has opened for Ella Eyre in London at the Roundhouse, in Dublin at The Academy and in Belfast at Mandela Hall. Jake has also supported Paloma Faith for two nights at the Hammersmith Apollo and two nights at Kew Gardens. He sold out his headline London show at Barfly in a week in April. This summer he’s performed two shows at Glastonbury (Rabbit Hole and Silver Hayes), played on the headline stage at Barn On The Farm and has been invited to play the Festival Republic Stage at Reading & Leeds Festival in August.
CMJ 2015 is an incredible platform for new artists as it is well respected and recognized internationally. It is the ideal showcase for Jake because it is the perfect step into the US market for three reasons; it will engage current fans, put Jake in front of interested industry professionals and pave the way for future US touring. This year’s CMJ will be Jake’s first US endeavor and allow him to perform and meet with the current interested parties and will help create a buzz around him to set him up for more touring in the US in 2016.
