Kyla’s influences range from Bat For Lashes to The Velvet Underground.

Her single Walk Through Walls is coming out on Communion in February.

Kyla has played 34 shows in the last year. Particular highlights have been: Supporting The Like at Notting Hill Arts Club and playing as part of Communion’s Flowerpot takeover (same bill as Lissie and Angus & Julia Stone). Kyla’s live show has impressed Metropolis, who recently asked her to support Washington at a sold out show.

The biggest highlight of the last year was Kyla being asked to be main support for I Blame Coco’s UK tour. The tour was a great success and saw Kyla impress Academy 2 size venues.
Each gig has brought interest from various industry names. People we’ve had meetings with include: Coda, William Morris (UK and US), CAA, Atlantic, Metropolis, Downtown Publishing, Glassnote, Communion, SPC, Briony Turner (whilst at A&M), Tom Graham (Global/Mercury). Along with filmmakers / bloggers.
