Coco: Momentum

Renowned for his split-second ability to accelerate rapid-fire flow while delivering top notch punchlines, Coco brings an originality, high energy sound, and presence to any stage he sets foot on. Learning to produce from a young age, Coco set out to create and cement his own sound within his local Grime scene, first working as a solo artist and as an act with ‘All Out Krew’ and ‘M3′.
Coco linked up with another Steel City Legend, Toddla T in 2015 and after an appearance on Toddla T’s R1 show and a few studios sessions, the result was a ‘no-hook, sub-heavy banger’ called  ‘Target Practice’ which had huge radio support from Charlie Sloth & DJ Target.  Followed up with ‘Big Bou Yah’ with support from Annie Mac & Nick Grimshaw on R1,  B- Listed by R1xtra & Reprezent amongst others and remix support from Terminator, Jammz and Trigga.  Further performances at Notting Hill and Manchester Carnivals as well as an exclusive Ibiza Rocks set saw the buzz start to spread like wildfire.
2016 started with a ‘Fire In The Booth’ for Charlie Sloth, which was done in 1 take and went out on Boxing Day on Radio 1, to huge critical acclaim and finished with another play listed track at Radio 1xtra “Waters Run Deep” feat Deep Green & Shola Ama. 2017 is sharpening up to be his best year yet with numerous live & festival shows & a busy release schedule!
