Moving On Music: The Open Fund for Organisations

Since their establishment in 1995, Moving On Music has grown to become one of the leading promoters of jazz, roots, traditional, classical and “other” music in Northern Ireland.
PRSF will support a project that includes the JamJar series, Night Music series and Brilliant Corners festival. Each event will feature UK music creators, new and original music as well as development opportunities.

JamJar
This will feature 4 events, showcasing some of the most captivating musicians and sound artists from pop-rock, folk and electronica. Curated by NI musician, composer and sound artist Úna Monaghan, each event will feature performances, live interviews, sonic experimentation, audience Q&A’s and unexpected collaborations. Artists will include Lauren Sarah Hayes, Gnanam Samuel, Die Hexen and Paula Guzzanti. In partnership with the Black Box.
Night Music
Entering its fourth year, Night Music presents a series of short concerts involving top UK and Irish musicians and composers. High quality chamber music presented in an informal setting, along with opportunities to eat, drink and meet the artists, and engage in the pre-concert talks. The series features new and contemporary music alongside more familiar works and is presented in partnership with Belfast Music Society and Contemporary Music Centre Ireland.
Brilliant Corners; a festival of jazz in Belfast
Growing in strength each year, the 2017 festival will feature more unique high quality performances by UK and international artists, showcasing the best of jazz and creative music to NI audiences.
