Inspired by the sounds of The Knife, Battles and Bjork, combined with the pulsing rhythms of dubstep, Nedry is a three piece electronic/rock/dance collision hailing from North East London making music for the ‘post generation’.

In February, Nedry released their debut album, ‘Condors’, worldwide on Monotreme Records, apart from Japan, where Zankyo Records will release it in March 2011, with their second tour there in April.

The critical response has been wonderful. Nedry has been heavily tipped as a band to watch in the press and championed by BBC Radio, with a Maida Vale session and appearances on the BBC stages of several major festivals. In 2009 Nedry toured in Japan, In 2010 Nedry headline toured the UK and mainland Europe and supported 65daysofstatic on both their UK and mainland Europe dates. 2010 festivals included Sonar (Spain — BBC introducing Stage), Latitude (UK — BBC Introducing Stage), Roskilde (DK), Reeperbahn (DE), Truck (UK), SWN (UK), Farm Fest (UK), Turning Point (UK).

Condors received excellent press worldwide, including the USA, where it earned a place in Metacritic’s ‘Best albums of 2010 So Far’ list with an overall score of 82 and again placed high in the ‘albums of the year’ list.
