Visual Marketing Campaign for Debut Album Release and Tour

“The pressure at the top end of music today means that unless you can master your instrument, sing like an angel and write your own work you’re going to find it hard to reach the top! Ayanna is all these things and more and I’m her biggest fan!” – Gilles Peterson

MOBO nominated singer-songwriter/cellist Ayanna Witter-Johnson has captivated audiences worldwide becoming the only non-American to win Amateur Night Live at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NYC, touring (Europe, India, U.S.) with Anoushka Shankar, recording with Marc Mac (4Hero), the Kronos Quartet and Akala as well as composing for the London Symphony Orchestra. Her two self-released EPs to date have led her to grace stages at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and sell out her first headline show at the Jazz Café.

Currently recording her debut audience for release in 2017 her successful application to The Open Fund is to support working with an innovative visual content company that specialize in consumer content for the 18-35 (Generation Y/Millenial) demographic. Creating a visual content campaign to increase her social media following across several platforms (YouTube/Facebook/Twitter/Instagram) throughout the release of her debut album and UK tour. Through this visual campaign she aims to achieve an increased online fan-base, live audience nationwide and international profile.
