Creation, Promotion and Live Showcase of the first Bambooman Album

“I’m really over the moon, that thanks to the PRSF, I am now able to confidently embark on recording my first Bambooman album, which is something I have been working hard towards achieving for years now, and it feels like it could not have come at a better time for me, as I feel more developed with my sound than ever, and feel ready and excited  to take on the grand task of writing and producing  an album. The grant will allow me to record, produce, mix and master the album to a high standard using equipment, instruments and techniques that I have not had access to using previously, things I have planned/wanted to use in my music for years.

I will be starting the project by collecting lots of source material to use for the creation of the album, including field recordings (of natural and industrial sounds), studio recordings (of instruments, found sounds and performers) and synthesized sounds/processed sounds. Once I have a good source material bank compiled, I will begin composing works and developing the album, and also work adjacently on developing the album tracks  into an engaging live set.

Once completed in early 2017, I will be releasing the album, coinciding with a live album launch event which will champion acts who are pushing the boundaries in the live performance of electronic music. I will also be doing the debut live performing of my first album at this event”
