Broadcast Leeds aims to help expose and develop routes into the music industry/industries for individuals of any age in the Leeds area and support development of the music industry sector within the Leeds area. PRSF funding will allow us to create a more structured series of networking and collaborative events around our showcase industry day, The Live At Leeds Unconference.
In undertaking this work in 2015, we developed a strong relationship with Leeds City Council and their Breeze Network, developing the Under The Owls program specifically aimed at under 19s. Centered around a large live music event in the Summer, PRSF funding this year will allow us to develop under 19 performers, an audience with live opportunities and personal and professional development akin to that offered through the core network.
