Kongo Dia Ntotila Album Release & Live Launch Event

Kongo Dia Ntotila is a jazz-inflected fusion of African roots-inspired beats and bass grooves on a journey through the musical motherland, played with “authenticity and brilliance” (Max Reinhardt), by “musicians of the very very highest standard” (Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music).

Composed of bass, guitar, drums and a tiny but mighty brass section, the band bring entrancing synergy to a fresh fusion sound that draws on jazz, blues, Latin and reggae vibes, over a solid foundation of authentic African rhythms and traditional styles you can’t help but move to. Kongo Dia Ntotila has had an excellent response to their new live line up, and they have been putting that magic into a second studio record over the last year. The forthcoming album will be internationally released, with a live launch party in London, followed by a UK tour in 2018.
