Oxford Jazz Masters Series (OxJaMA): Jazz Promoter

The OxJaMS concept was born in 2005 when George Haslam floated the proposal to present world leading exponents of free improvisation and avant garde jazz in a venue offering the prestige the art merited. The venue was to be The Holywell Music Room, Oxford. Having convinced fellow musicians Richard Leigh Harris and Steve Kershaw of the attractions the proposal offered, private sponsorship was secured to support the first season of 3 concerts where the programme would present the host musicians with selected guests.

PRS for Music Foundation have awarded OxJaMS funding.
