Stephen Black, aka Sweet Baboo, is a Welsh pop musician. In April this year he released his 4th album ‘Ships’ on the Moshi Moshi label. To promote the album, a 22 date tour was organised around Britain. PRS for Music Foundation funding helped him to pay the band, afford travel and accommodation costs and other expenses. The money has been, and will continue to be, invaluable. “It has given me an opportunity to promote the band without incurring significant debt and, in doing so, helped build the foundations for Sweet Baboo to become a self-sufficient band“.
