For:

Bristol Music Trust Talent Development Programme

Bristol Music Trust (BMT) runs Colston Hall, the largest music venue in the South West, and offers a diverse programme of music for over 250,000 people each year and an award-winning educational programme through Bristol Plays Music.

Between April 2017 and March 2018, thanks to the PRSF Talent Development Partnership, BMT will be running a new Artist Development Programme to support talented new music creators. Thirty promising artists working in electronic and popular music genres will get the chance to appear on Colston Hall’s second stage, The Lantern, and third Foyer stage plus will receive industry support from the Colston Hall team.

As part of BMT’s new underground music platform, Multi-Track, showcase events focussing on urban music will also be held with industry insight sessions to connect aspiring creatives with industry professionals.

The highlight of the year will be an ambitious new festival in March 2018 which will unite the best artists and music from across the programme with performances on Colston Hall’s stages and in venues across the city which champion ground-breaking new music.
