The Year Round Programme of Music at Cafe OTO and the OTO Project Space
OTO Projects manages the extremely ambitious live event programme at Cafe OTO. This is unique in being the only year round programme of experimental music seven nights a week in the UK. For close to a decade this programme has helped provide a platform for a broad range of boundary-pushing music that exists outside of the mainstream.
In addition to the live event programme with PRS Foundation support, OTO Projects provides free rehearsal space to musicians, hosts talks and workshops about new music and collaborates with external partners across the UK to produce offsite events.
OTO Projects with support from the PRS Foundation, is also developing an essential and unique digital archive for experimental music as well as a Digital Membership scheme. These new strands have given us the opportunity to engage with an audience who are unable to physically attend the venue increasing the national and international audience for what we do.
