Through their Creative Learning Programme they nurture talent, including those who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

With support from the PRS for Music Foundation as a Talent Development Partner, Britten Sinfonia will; commission and premiere new works by; Brian Elias, Mark-Anthony Turnage, Elena Langer, and Kenneth Hesketh. Britten Sinfonia will also commission a new piece by Sohrab Uduman, the winner of the Britten Sinfonia OPUS competition for unpublished composers, and run the OPUS 2017 competition to find new talent. Finally, Britten Sinfonia will run a residential course for the Britten Sinfonia Academy (its ensemble of outstanding musicians from East Anglia) along with Aldeburgh Young Musicians.
