YMT have been going for eight years and in that time have grown to be one the UK’s principal national youth arts organisations and largest provider of musical theatre activities for young people. They are also one of the National Youth Music Organisations supported by Youth Music and were the first arts organisation to receive the Learning Outside the Classroom kitemark awarded by the Department for Education.
They cater for young people over a wide age range – from 11-21 – as well as offering training opportunities for recent graduates and emerging artists.
