Kate Walters

Kate Walters has been producing music events since 2008 when she made an on-the-spot pitch to the managers of The Hayward Gallery bar/venue, mistakenly believing that she was getting a gig for a band she was currently representing.

In fact, she left the bar with a monthly residency called Trouble Tune, which would last for a further six months, achieving record audiences for the venue which got the attention of the contemporary music programmers at Southbank Centre. By May 2009, Kate was staging large indoor and outdoor events across multiple venues attracting audiences of up to 1,000.

Currently residing in the Midlands, Kate is now working in a consultancy capacity at a venue, label and studio complex based at Coventry’s 17th century Canal Basin.
