New grantees for Women Make Music and The Open Fund announced

We are very pleased to announce the next recipients of Women Make Music and The Open Fund. With a huge variety of genres and projects being supported, these 59 grantees are testament to the incredibly high quality of applicants for these funds. The projects supported are extremely diverse, ranging from a Scottish ceilidhs to a community jazz comission in Woolwich. Women Make Music supports the development of outstanding women songwriters and composers of all genres and backgrounds at different stages of their career. The fund can support projects by women songwriters, composers, artists, bands and performers who are writing their own music. Read more about the fund here.
