Black Out Tuesday

We stand in solidarity with Black communities against racism, bigotry and prejudice.

The recent events in the US ram home the deep-rooted injustice experienced around the world by Black communities, including within the UK music industry and in UK society.

We recognise as an organisation we need to do better, to shout louder and to take tangible action to reject the racism and injustice. Sometimes we get it wrong and when we do we support you calling us out. We must all work together to do better.

We encourage the music community to join us in challenging prejudice every day. Today PRS Foundation is observing Black Out Tuesday by disconnecting from ‘business as usual’, through a day of reflection and conversation, and by committing to do more in the ongoing fight against racism.
