PRS Foundation artists receive 31 nominations at this year’s MOBO Awards

31 of the MOBO award nominations this year feature artists who have received PRS Foundation support during their careers through the International Showcase Fund, PPL Momentum Music Fund, Women Make Music, The Open Fund, Steve Reid Innovation Award and BBC Music Introducing partnership.

British Music Collective SAULT are nominated for Best R&B/soul act. The collective features singer-songwriter Cleo Sol, supported through MOBO Unsung in 2012, a MOBO initiative in conjunction with PRS Foundation, supporting the best in emerging talent.

Best R&B/soul act

  • Bellah – PPL Momentum Music Fund
  • Jaz Karis – International Showcase Fund

The MOBO awards take place today at Utilita Arena Sheffield in Sheffield and are the UK’s biggest and most prestigious celebration of black music.
