There are also 9 runner-up prizes of £1,000 each and a design commission highlighting the enduring links between musicart and design in Scotland. The SAY Award is respected by artists, valued by the industry and is responsible for both a surge in musical discovery and an explosion of impassioned debate on social media.

The SAY Award is a Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA) production. The SAY Award prize fund is supported by Creative Scotland. The Ceremony in 2024 takes place on Thursday 24 October at The Albert Halls thanks to the support of Stirling Council.
