7 artists supported by PRS Foundation have their albums nominated for the Scottish Album of Year Award

Dead Pony: IGNORE THIS – PPL Momentum Music Fund, International Showcase Fund
Fergus McCreadie: Stream – Beyond Borders, International Showcase Fund
Lucia & The Best Boy: Burning Castles – PPL Momentum Music Fund
Mama Terra: The Summoned – International Showcase Fund
The Snuts: Millennials – International Showcase Fund
20 outstanding Scottish albums make up The SAY Award Longlist for 2024. The winning record will receive a £20,000 prize, as well as the coveted title of Scottish Album of the Year.
There are also 9 runner-up prizes of £1,000 each and a design commission highlighting the enduring links between music, art and design in Scotland. The SAY Award is respected by artists, valued by the industry and is responsible for both a surge in musical discovery and an explosion of impassioned debate on social media.
The SAY Award is a Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA) production. The SAY Award prize fund is supported by Creative Scotland. The Ceremony in 2024 takes place on Thursday 24 October at The Albert Halls thanks to the support of Stirling Council.
