3 PRS Foundation grantees make it to the SAY Awards Shortlist

Huge congratulations to the 3 PRS Foundation grantees who have been included in The Scottish Album of the Year Award (The SAY Awards) short list.

Becky Sikasa: The Writings and The Pictures and the Song – POWER UP

Dead Pony: IGNORE THIS – PPL Momentum Music Fund, International Showcase Fund

Lucia & The Best Boy: Burning Castles – PPL Momentum Music Fund

20 outstanding Scottish albums make up The SAY Award Longlist for 2024. The winning record will receive a £20,000 prize, as well as the coveted title of Scottish Album of the Year.

There are also 9 runner-up prizes of £1,000 each and a design commission highlighting the enduring links between musicart and design in Scotland. The SAY Award is respected by artists, valued by the industry and is responsible for both a surge in musical discovery and an explosion of impassioned debate on social media.

The SAY Award is a Scottish Music Industry Association (SMIA) production. The SAY Award prize fund is supported by Creative Scotland. The Ceremony in 2024 takes place on Thursday 24 October at The Albert Halls thanks to the support of Stirling Council.
