- The nominated artists have received PRS Foundation funding through the PPL Momentum Music Fund, The Open Fund, Women Make Music, International Showcase Fund,
- Two nominated albums including Melin Melyn’s “Mill on the Hill” and The Gentle Good’s “Elan” were supported by PPL Momentum Music funding
PRS Foundation grantees who have been nominated for the AIM Awards 2025 are:

Founded in 2011, the Welsh Music Prize celebrates the finest music made in Wales or by Welsh people around the world. Originally originally launched to co-incide with Swn Festival it has now grown into its own, taking place each Autumn.
With a commitment to diversity and fine production, the Welsh Music Prize will continue to champion the best new music in Wales.
The winner of the 2025 Welsh Music Prize will be announced at a ceremony held at the Wales Millennium Centre on Monday October 6, 2025 hosted by Radio 1’s Sian Eleri.
