PRS Foundation grantees receive 12 nominations at The Ivors Awards

Huge congratulations to nine PRS Foundation-supported artists and composers who have collectively received 12 nominations at this year’s Ivors Awards.

Artists including Self Esteem, Wolf Alice and Kae Tempest have been recognised across multiple categories, highlighting the breadth and impact of PRS Foundation support. Elsewhere, songwriters Violet Skies and Oscar Scheller are credited as co-writers on Lily Allen’s nominated album WEST END GIRL, while Mark Bowen – co-writer on Florence + The Machine’s EVERYBODY SCREAM – is a member of IDLES, who were supported through the BBC Introducing x PRS Foundation partnership.

These nominations reflect the vital role PRS Foundation funding plays at key moments in artists’ careers. The nominated grantees have received support through programmes including the Open Fund, Women Make Music, Beyond Borders, PPL Momentum Music Fund, International Showcase Fund (ISF), BBC Introducing partnership and The Composers’ Fund.
