3 Women Make Music Supported Artists Among the Many PRS Foundation Grantees Celebrating Wins at the Jazz FM Awards 2026

We are incredibly proud to announce that several PRS Foundation grantees took home major wins at the Jazz FM Awards 2026! Three of our Women Make Music grantees including Yazmin Lacey, Emma Rawicz, and Emma-Jean Thackray were among the talented winners. The other grantees received funding through a variety of our vital funds and initiatives, including the PPL Momentum Music Fund, our partnership with BBC Introducing, the Lynsey de Paul Award, and Musicians in Residence.

It is fantastic to see that many of this year’s winners accessed impactful, early-stage support from our Talent Development Network (TDN) organisations. Ezra Collective received vital early backing through TDN organisation Tomorrow’s Warriors. Yazmin Lacey, who took home the award for Vocalist of the Year, also received backing through the TDN organisation Future Bubblers. Moreover, Donovan Haffner, who won Breakthrough Act of the Year, was supported by TDN Tomorrow’s Warriors, which included funding through their Warriors Rise 2025 touring project.

• Balimaya Project — Collaboration of the Year (with Discos Pacifico Allstars) (International Showcase Fund)
• Fergus McCreadie — Album of the Year (International Showcase Fund and Beyond Borders)
• Emma Rawicz — UK Jazz Act of the Year (Women Make Music)
• Emma-Jean Thackray — Innovation Award (Lynsey de Paul Award, Women Make Music, Musician in Residence, BBC Introducing Partnership, and the International Showcase Fund)
