The Oram Awards is a professional development partnership with PRS Foundation, recognising women and gender diverse artists who are innovators in the fields of music, sound and related technologies in honour of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop’s Daphne Oram,

This year’s event is a celebration of Daphne Oram’s centenary presented by YSWN and the Oram Awards. Previous Oram Awards winner Lou Barnell headlines, while Helen Papaioannou, Cherry Seraph and Artists’ Child present new electronic pieces created for Changing Gear, YSWN’s PRSF Talent Development Network-supported programme.

Before the concert, researcher Tom Richards presents a talk and workshop themed around the Mini-Oramics Machine, which he built from Daphne Oram’s unrealised design.
