BBC Music Introducing and PRS Foundation Showcases

Our partnership with BBC Music Introducing brings emerging talent to showcases worldwide. At the launch of BBC Music, BBC Music Introducing announced that it would be forming a partnership with PRS Foundation as part of their commitment to offer the best new artists unrivalled opportunities to be seen and heard.

We have a BBC Music Introducing and PRS Foundation Showcase stage at various international events.

Artists chosen are those that have uploaded music to the BBC Introducing Uploader

Eurosonic 2019

Boy Azooga (selcted by Huw Stephens) and Lion (selected by Steve Lamacq) will perform at ESNS in January 2019.

Winter Jazzfest 2019

Emma-Jean Thackray, Ezra Collective, Yazmin Lacey and one more TBC will all perform in NYC in January. More info.

SXSW 2018

Every year PRS Foundation support many UK artists to go to SXSW. We also host a showcase at the British Music Embassy with BBC Music Introdcing, On Tuesday 13 March, BBC Music Introducing and PRS Foundation presented Himalayas, Che Lingo, Rachel K Collier, Touts, Jerry Williams and Pale Waves.

Winter Jazzfest 2018

Our first showcase at Winter Jazzfest NYC, presented by Gilles Peterson was a huge success with a total sell out and coverage in the New York Times and more. Nubya Garcia, Yazz Ahmed, The Comet is Coming and Oscar Jerome all performed incredible sets.
