Mystry: International Showcase Fund (A3C 2016)

Producer & DJ Mystry hails from Birmingham. After an initial break in 2013 there has been serious momentum behind his progress.
A pivotal moment for Mystry was his track ‘Pulse 8’ getting it’s first play at the Red Bull Culture Clash courtesy of Boy Better Know, during the infamous moment Skepta was joined on stage by Stormzy. Since then, Mystry’s music has gone on to get heavy support from Annie Nightingale, Huw Stephens, Mistajam, Charlie Sloth, Benji B, Boy Better Know, Logan Sama, EZ, Spyro, Toddla T and many more.
‘Pulse 8’ was premiered ahead of it’s release on i-D Magazine’s Soundcloud and further success came when it was voiced by JME for the opening track on his latest album ‘Integrity’ which reached number 12 in the UK album charts. The instrumental was used again by Jammer with an all star grime lineup for ‘Royal Rumble’ the lead single on the latest Lord of the Mics compilation. Mystry has been putting in the studio hours & has released his second Stripes Records EP titled ‘Graveyard Shift’.
Having already made his Boiler Room debut, played Fabric Room 1 at the institutions 16th birthday weekend & now getting ready for Bestival, Reading & Leeds festival & Warehouse Project Mystry is just as home behind the decks as he is in the studio.
