Growing MUNRO Festival in 2026 to the next level
MUNRO Festival is an all day festival based in Stockton On Tees, which welcomes all ages. It has an alumni of such artists as The Lottery Winners, The K’s, Red Rum Club & The Clause, mixing it with the best emerging talent from the North East music scene.
The funding that has been allocated to MUNRO Festival from PRS, will focus on two areas of the running of the festival: advertisement and venue hire.
The marketing campaigns that we will be able to create thanks to the funding will be aimed towards exposure, having more eyes on the festivals, which means more of a chance of them attending and also the overall growth being bigger and better than previous years. It will also help the artists on this year’s line up reach new audience members, but locally and nationally, which is what MUNRO was created for.
There will be allocation towards the venue hire, which will not only help the continued growing relationship of venue and promoters, but it also gives the festival budget more flexibility to pay artists/performers, a fair fee which they deserve when it comes to their performances.
