Promoter LDN GRV, spearheaded by DJ and founder Adam Romo, will be running a day party at the prolific XOYO nightclub in London on the 30th November 2024 with the support of the Early Career Promoter Fund. LDN GRV is a grass-roots DJ collective focused on forward-thinking, groove centred dance music, with underground house, UK garage, minimal tech, electro, and breaks being a mainstay at their parties. They deliver events that are positive, welcoming, and non-judgemental, and believe that love for the music and human connection trump our differences every time. Their event promises a diverse and eclectic line-up of underground and grassroots talent representative of London’s unique diversity and groovy dance music flavours. They hope to prove that it doesn’t take massive names and expensive bookings to fill big venues, and that community driven events showcasing fresh new talent are as, if not more, fun than the big guns. Using the PRS Funding, they hope to turn a successful daytime event at XOYO into residency at the venue so that they can continue showcasing underground talent at one of London’s best nightclubs.
