Biog: Andrey Kiritchenko (Andriy Kyrychenko) is a Ukrainian experimental music producer, founder of Nexsound Records and NextSound Festival, and a key figure in Ukraine’s electronic music scene. Born in Kharkiv, he began his career as a singer-songwriter before evolving into experimental electronic and electroacoustic music. Over the years, he has received international recognition, including an award at the Qwartz Electronic Music Awards, a nomination for the Rolex Mentor-Protégé program, and participation in the Ukrainian exhibition at the Venice Biennale. He has also curated Detali Zvuku Festival and Gurkit Magazine, and taught Sound Art and Sound Design at Karazin National University. Since moving to the UK in 2022, he has launched the radio show “Daydreaming Machine” on Resonance FM 104.4. Thanks to PRS Foundation’s International Showcase Fund, Andrey will perform at Tallinn Music Week, a key platform for cutting-edge artists. This grant enables him to expand his international presence, connect with new audiences, and engage with industry professionals. With past performances at Matadac Festival (Madrid), Iklectika Festival (London), Unsound festival (Krakow), CTM festival (Berlin), Bouquet Festival, and coverage in The Wire Magazine, Neural Magazine, Skug Magazine, Igloo Magazine and A Closer Listen, he continues to push the boundaries of electronic and electro acoustic music. By participating in Tallinn Music Week, Andrey aims to strengthen artistic collaborations, foster cross-cultural dialogue, and further establish his work on the global stage.
