Touring as a support band for Fletcher’s UK/EU Tour

Brighton queer power pop duo Hanni (they/them, guitar & vox) and Clara (she/her, drums) joined forces in 2017, having both previously been in projects in the same local scene.

ARXX had a breakout year in 2023, playing over 60 shows, including supports with Yungblud, The Vamps and MUNA, and Radio 1’s Big Weekend alongside their biggest ever headline tour, their first two Radio 1 Hottest Records and the release of their debut album Ride Or Die. ARXX have consistently championed marginalised voices, partnering with trans healthcare charity We Exist on a rework of album opener Baby Uh Huh in December, featuring 10 other queen female and non-binary artists, including Soft Lad, Phoebe Green and Belot, and with gender diversity charity Gendered Intelligence, on Couldn’t Help Myself in 2022. They were also awarded an AIM Local Hero Award that year. They release the first brand new music since the album on 18th March, with the single Crying in the Carwash, which was produced by long-term collaborator Steven Ansell (Blood Red Shoes) and mastered by Katie Tavini (Arlo Parks). This single is closely followed by a huge run supporting Fletcher on her full EU & UK tour throughout April & May. This funding from the PPL Momentum Fund will allow them to take a sound engineer and tour manager on their biggest tour to date, reaching audiences of over 80,000 people in the EU and UK.
