AVA Festival: The Open Fund for Organisations

AVA is an Audio Visual Arts festival, conference, event series and broadcast that celebrates, amplifies and develops the strong current of electronic music and digital visual arts throughout the UK and Ireland.

Since 2015, AVA has worked to create a varied programme to help facilitate learning from a number of levels – through festivals, lectures, workshops, showcases, masterclasses, industry networking and drop in sessions.

As a response to Covid-19, AVA has created a Deep Listening & Learning Programme, looking to develop a combination of events and workshops to promote electronic music, and enable people to continue to access it whilst socially distancing. The project will creatively and professionally develop artists via live low capacity events, as well as online workshops and tutorials. Key elements of the live performances are creating profound visual shows through lighting and projection, encouraging both an immersive and deep listening experience.
