Beauty Sleep Album Release – Marketing & Touring
Indie rock sweethearts Beauty Sleep are producers and songwriters Cheylene Murphy and Ryan McGroarty. The Derry duo serve up a blend of bewitching synths and bombastic guitars that are sure to set your heart racing as their lavish soundscapes and dizzying songwriting have drawn comparisons to New Order, St Vincent & Japanese Breakfast. These partners in crime released their debut album Be Kind in 2019 which was shortlisted for Best Album at the Northern Irish Music Prize and garnered national radio support from BBC Radio One, 6Music, RTE2fm and seen them perform at festivals such as SXSW, The Great Escape and Other Voices.
The PPL Momentum Music Award will go towards the promotion and touring of Beauty Sleep’s second record, released in 2025. This includes funding help with print, online and radio PR, costs towards vinyl printing and visual assets, and help with touring costs in mainland UK (as Beauty Sleep are based in Belfast) for their album launch UK tour.
