Debut Album

Taking inspiration from a wide variety of artists, from Rex Orange County and Phoebe Bridgers, to Pinegrove and Hiroshi Yoshimura, beaux’s self-taught, super catchy hooks pair alt pop sensibilities, with intimate storytelling.
So determined to pursue his burgeoning musical career, he finished up his GCSEs and A-Levels at the age of 15 and taught himself how to produce using online tutorials.

He has released four EPs via the independent UK label Dirty Hit (beabadoobee, The 1975, Rina Sawayama).

His debut release led NME to label him a “pop prodigy” – describing his EP as “catchier than a rash, it boasts whispery vocals that evoke Troye Sivan, huge pop-hooks à la Lorde and glittering production somewhere between Billie Eilish and label-mate No Rome.”

beaux’s first headline show took place in late 2022, selling out The Camden Assembly, London. In 2023, beaux announced performances at a number of UK festivals, including Truck, Latitude, Y Not?, Barn On The Farm, and Reading & Leeds Festival.

beaux has been praised by BBC Radio 1, The Sunday Times, NME, Rolling Stone, Notion, Clash, Zane Lowe for Apple Music, and Sir Elton John.

beaux began self-producing his debut album in 2023. The PPL Momentum Fund will contribute greatly to completing the project with close collaborator Hoost, as well as with friends/band mates – Tate Tsang and Lyle Burton. Additionally, the funding will support the creation of photo and video assets, as well as the mixing, mastering, radio promotion and marketing of the record.
