Bio: From busking on the streets of Cardiff to headlining rooms across the UK & Europe, Ben Ellis is one of Wales’ most exciting emerging artist. The Cardiff-born singer-songwriter makes honest, emotional indie pop, songs about heartbreak, relationships and growing up, blending raw intimacy with a classic rock energy that sets him apart. His third EP ‘The Train Where the Time Slows’, is his most personal work yet, earning him BBC Radio 1 support, festival slots at Pinkpop and Rock Werchter, and tours alongside James Arthur and Henry Moodie. Now, backed by a PPL Momentum Music Fund grant from PRS Foundation and PPL, Ben is taking the biggest step of his career, a five-date UK headline tour this autumn, bringing his first full band & production show to Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London, reaching over 2,800 fans across the country.<br />The funding is making it all possible: covering touring costs, marketing and for the first time, a proper stage production to match the scale of the moment. For an artist who has built everything independently from the ground up, it’s the platform to reach new audiences nationally and lay the foundations for a long-term career as a live artist. The best, it seems, is just getting started.
