Concise Description: A calendar of all day festivals in grassroots venues and regular gigs in DIY spaces with a focus on opportunities for youth artists
Bio: Noise In Promotions are a primarily guitar based, alternative music promoter based in Halifax West Yorkshire. We put on an annual festival in November ‘Noise In The Valley’ – A free entry, three day, multi-venue festival taking place in the Calder Valley, both in Halifax and Sowerby Bridge, as well as a smaller catalogue of DIY events throughout the year. We focus on celebrating and uplifting the talent in our area by offering specific slots to younger and upcoming artists, as well as giving more established artists an opportunity to play to an engaged and enthusiastic local crowd. The funding Noise In have received from the PRS Foundation will be going towards building a bigger, better and more secure future for Noise In The Valley. Allowing us to approach even more exciting artists, work closer with independent venues and put more back into the local scene. We are already starting to look at the impact this funding will have and NITV 2026 is going to be our biggest, and best year yet!
