Better Now You Know – EP
I have been writing, recording, and releasing music under the name Benny Atlas for the last 2 years. I have managed to gain nationwide and international momentum in the form of streams, radio play, and live shows. Along the way, I have had the chance to refine and improve my skills, especially my songwriting and singing. When I was awarded the PPL Momentum award, I was at a point, where I needed additional funding to push me on to the next level. All previous releases had been done on relatively modest budgets and had wielded good results. The main obstacle I was facing was funding, to up the quality of my music production, video production, and PR/Marketing. This funding came at the perfect time, as I felt like the music I was making for my upcoming project was some of the best music i had made so far, and so, i felt like these songs deserved a bigger push, both in a creative sense and a marketing sense. With this funding, I am going to improve the production quality by using proven music producers who have higher-level skills and equipment. I am going to make better videos and visuals for this project, following closely the narrative of the EP, which explores adultery, paranoia, and regret. I am also going to use this money to engage a well-established PR company, to promote and market my forthcoming EP ‘Better Now You Know’
