Beth Roberts: Women Make Music

Recording & releasing Beth Roberts’ debut album ‘The Unknowing’

Beth Roberts is a songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Bristol, UK. Her music explores themes of post-religious identity, grief, uncertainty, renewal and joy.

In 2025, she received ACE’s Develop Your Creative Practice Grant, receiving mentoring from This Is The Kit and Rowan Rheingans, and took her new band on tour opening for Ye Vagabonds.

Her core collaborations form a vibrant constellation of acclaimed folk-aligned projects with with a strong DIY ethos, including Hands of the Heron, Hedera, Tryani Collective and House of Figs. She is co-director of community label Cuculi Records, and Musician-in-Residence at University Hospitals Bristol & Weston.
