Br3nya: Momentum

Growing up in West London as a Ghanaian female, UK rapper Br3nya has channelled her influences, environment and heritage into her music. Her lyrical ability and confident, clever delivery standing her apart from her peers; Br3nya’s releases ‘Good Food’, ‘Like Me’, ‘Double Dutch’ and ‘Sis’ have already seen the rapper build up a cult following.

‘Plenty’ will mark Br3nya’s first release of 2020 and follows a 2019 that saw her open Stormzy’s groundbreaking #MERKY Festival, perform a debut headline show that featured special guests Darkoo, Alicai Harley and Dolapo alongside releasing consistent tracks that continue to delight fans across the UK and beyond.

Having collaborated with the likes of Darkoo, Alicai Harley, Hamzaa and Ms Banks – Br3nya always holds her own on a record. With props coming from The FADER, GRM Daily, BBC Radio 1, Complex UK, Capital Xtra, TRENCH, Red Bull and BBC Radio 1Xtra naming her in their Hot for 2020 list – the stage is set for Br3nya to take over this year.

Gearing up to launch her debut project Br3nya SZN, Br3nya has curated a masterpiece – which engages all aspects of Br3nya’s personality and musical influences. Growing up in London, the project pays homage to various music styles including Hiphop, Dancehall, Afrobeats and R&B. This project encapsulates all aspects of Br3nya’s unapologetic personality.
