Brisfest is a 2-day festival (22-23 September 2012) which showcases rising talent across all genres of music, helps the professional development of artists, trains volunteers in the music and events industry, and provides an exciting cutting-edge event. It is organised by The Bristol Festival Community Group, registered charity 1124722, with hundreds of local volunteers dedicated to supporting and promoting music, art and culture. After four successful years we are expanding by moving from a concrete site to Ashton Court estate just 30 minutes walk away. Alongside ten stages of music (with top headliners including Tricky, Beardyman, Hawkwind, alongside new artists from the Southwest) the festival also features comedy, circus and street-art and we have a UK media campaign planned to draw new audiences.

Search Grantees

If you’re looking to see if we’ve supported someone like you, working in your genre or region, or if you want to find out who we’ve supported through our different funding opportunities and partnership programmes, then please use the drop-down menu search tool.

If you have a specific artist, group, performer, promoter or organisation that you’re looking for, please use the ‘Search’ tool in the top right hand corner of this page. If we have supported them, this is the best way to find out about the support they’ve received from us.
