Brownswood Music Ltd: Talent Development Partner 2023
Creative supervision, recording and Release of new Future Bubbler’s compilation.
Future Bubbler’s is a talent discovery and development project from Gilles Peterson/Brownswood Music. The project is unique in that it’s main intention is to support artists creating music styles typically under-supported and to allow space for development at their own pace, (left-field/electronic/genre-blurring) & to focus on areas geographically outside London. As of Spring 2023 the programme is relaunching as an “Academy” to mentor and support creative AND industry candidates in tandem for the first time offering a new and improved focus and relevance.
The PRS Foundation Talent Development Partner funding will enable us to record, release and promote the 7th edition of our critically acclaimed and respected compilation series. This provides a real life, tangible example for our candidates to learn through and also replicate for themselves at a later stage, as well as helping to set up their first pipeline income stream earning from record zero on all sales and streams of the release. The promotional strategy around the record not only helps to entrench awareness of our programme and it’s work, but also is proven to create a strong forward momentum for all artists involved to plug into their own individual strategies and releases.
