ButhoTheWarrior: POWER UP Music Creator

Short Bio: With roots deeply grounded in culture and community ButhoTheWarrior, DJ, producer and curator of the forward thinking party JAIVA at the world famous Sub Club. The party seeks to celebrate black creatives and music locally and bridging the gap between Southern African and Scotland. Known for his groovy, deep eclectic sets he is no stranger to keeping the dance floors across Scotland dancing. Butho’s artistry is marked by a fearless fusion of tradition and modern expression. Drawing inspiration from ancestral history, social dynamics, and personal experiences, he crafts immersive narratives that connect deeply with audiences. Looking forward to producing and releasing new music that will hopefully live on for years to come. Butho believes in using music to unite and heal. He has played alongside world touring artists like Louie Vega, Shimza, Giles Peterson, Jamz Supanova, Dj Paulette, Hunee and Awesome Tapes from Africa and many more inviting them to play at his party JAIVA.

Concise Description of activity: Producing and collaborating with some of my favourite artists in Glasgow to make the most experimental African electronic music.
