Callum Easter: The Open Fund for Music Creators

The Callum Easter TV Special is a short series of modern light-entertainment programmes, starring Callum Easter together with a host of guests.

Each fifteen minute episode will see Callum performing, solo and sometimes duetting with his guests, new material from his forthcoming album. There will also be comedians, dancers, magicians and mirrors. Tapping into the chaos of 1980s New York public access cable TV and the homely, all-ages entertainment of eponymous shows hosted by stars such as Johnny Cash, Lulu and Scott Walker, Easter hopes to present an intimate and engaging portrait of an artist and performer in an unexplored context.

Callum Easter primarily sees himself as a singer. His debut album ‘Here or Nowhere’ was released on Lost Map Records in April 2019. The album was written, performed, mixed and mastered by Easter himself. He has since signed with Moshi Moshi Records and released an album of stripped back songs captured live called ‘Green Door Sessions’ in August 2020.

The Callum Easter TV Special will be broadcast around the release of his second album proper, due in early 2021.
