Cassie Kinoshi: Women Make Music

Brown Penny is a six-piece band with a soundworld drawing from indie, jazz and electronic music led by saxophonist and composer Cassie Kinoshi (seed., KOKOROKO). Their music throws the listener into improvisation heavy compositions that continually shift and evolve as the track develops. Set to share their first EP in Spring 2023, Brown Penny’s debut release features tracks inspired by the fleeting moments and emotions in life that many young Londoners have experienced being based in such a unique city.
